Description from the seller
Kelly Veyl is a contemporary artist whose research develops around the relationship between matter, absence and visual memory. Her works are distinguished by an essential and refined language, in which the surface becomes a place of poetic tension between apparent softness and formal solidity. Folds, reliefs and delicate volumes evoke the silent presence of fabric, skin, stone and time, transforming the object into a vision suspended between sculpture and painting.
Drawn to a pure, luminous and meditative aesthetics, Kelly Veyl constructs works in which white, light and void assume a central role, giving life to compositions of strong visual and tactile intensity.
Her work invites slow, intimate contemplation, in which matter is never merely form, but emotional trace, imprint, memory retained.
Her stylistic signature, recognizable and sophisticated, fits into an international sensibility, close to authorial design, to minimal sculpture and to contemporary research on surface.
Kelly Veyl's works dialogue with elegant spaces and collections attentive to formal quality, proposing an artistic vision in which balance, silence and beauty become experience.
