Description from the seller
This satin twill scarf from the Atelier Versace line is an iconic piece that perfectly embodies the house's DNA: the golden Baroque motif on a red background is a timeless classic that evokes the luxury of the 1990s/2000s.
It is a high-end item from Atelier Versace, printed in the brand's iconic style. Made in lightweight silk twill and finished with hand-stitched edges, of artisanal, high-quality craftsmanship.
Atelier is the equivalent of Parisian Haute Couture, but with a deeply Milanese soul. The scarf is in silk twill, the preferred fabric for Atelier accessories:
The Weave: Silk twill is distinguished by its fine diagonal ribs. It is heavier and more durable than smooth silk (satin), which allows colors (like that vibrant red) to penetrate deeply into the fibers.
The Brilliance: Note how the yellow is not a flat yellow, but almost seems like poured gold. This is possible only thanks to high-definition screen printing techniques typical of Como craftsmanship (where Versace has always produced its silks). It is part of the Maison's Baroque repertoire:
The Acantus Scrolls: They echo the temple decorations of Magna Graecia (Gianni's Calabrian roots). The Symmetry: Everything in Atelier Versace is built on perfect symmetry, conveying a sense of power and regal presence to the wearer. Wrap it around the shoulders for a special evening.
Excellent condition: likely never used.
Height 160 cm, width 43 cm.
Brand: Atelier Versace
Italy, around 2000.
Care tips:
No direct perfumes, it is natural silk.
How to store it: Do not hang it for months (it could become misshapen). The ideal is to store it flat, gently folded without wrinkling it.
Comes with a new box.
