Description from the seller

Kindjal from the Caucasus, I assume it dates to around the first quarter of the twentieth century. Very beautiful blade, with grooves on both sides. The guards of the grip are made of bovine horn. The sheath is wood covered in black leather. Because the wood has dried with age, pulling the blade from the sheath has become more difficult.
