Cort has been around in the guitar market for many years and is known for its excellent price–quality ratio. Even with the chic-looking G280DX, the brand once again delivers a very nice electric guitar. The Cort G280DX achieves the base tone from the alder body. This wood is known for being lively with sparkle in the high end. Also the flame maple top, and the maple neck and fretboard add clarity to the overall sound. The result: a lively-sounding guitar that will always be heard. Not only is the look good, but the modern 2-point tremolo and locking tuners add a touch of luxury to the package.
Versatile sound
To offer a versatile instrument, Cort gave the G280DX an HSS configuration. This lets you in the neck and middle positions achieve beautiful cleans, as well as some nice blues. In the bridge position you can really shred. There are also two between positions for extra subtle tones. Whatever your style, the Cort G280DX never sounds out of place and always has an appropriate tone!
