D.B. Horizonte fragmentado No reserve is a unique black iron sculpture by Wallavibe, hand-signed, titled Horizonte fragmentado No reserve, measuring 18 cm in height, 35 cm in width and 80 cm in depth, originating from Spain and produced in abstract style with a sturdy, durable construction.
Description from the seller
Fragmented horizon explores the tension between stability and movement along a horizontal axis. The composition, formed by interconnected cubic modules, suggests a structure in constant transformation, as if suspended between geometric order and the impulse of chaos.
The horizontal line, traditionally associated with calm and balance, here breaks and disperses, creating an irregular rhythm that invites the viewer to move visually through the piece. Each fragment seems to shift, creating the illusion of motion paused in time.
The use of black reinforces formal purity and accentuates light and shadow contrasts, highlighting the work’s dimensionality. The sculpture invites reflection on the fragility of seemingly stable structures and the beauty that emerges from their decomposition.
This unique sculpture is part of the continuity of previous works, but it possesses its own character. The composition has been enriched with additional elements and a new structural order that generates a different sense of movement, balance, and dynamism.
Compared with earlier works, it shows variations in size and the arrangement of its components, subtly transforming its overall structure. Each piece is unrepeatable and reflects an evolution within the same creative line.
Measurements: 18 × 35 × 80 cm
Material: Iron
Matte black finish.
Artist information
Formation: Self-taught artist.
Exhibitions: I develop my artistic practice independently.
Awards: I have not received official prizes.
Residencies: I have not participated in artistic residencies.
My work focuses on creating unique pieces situated between sculpture and functional object, with an emphasis on materiality, structure, and the durability of the work. I develop sculptural furniture in concrete and iron, combining function and sculptural form, with a clear Brutalist influence. My work centers on geometry, structure, and materiality, creating pieces that explore balance, repetition, and visual presence in space.
Packing and shipping
The work will be carefully boxed using appropriate protective materials to ensure its safety during transport.
Certificate of authenticity
The sculpture will be shipped with its corresponding certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
