This elegant item is a glass decorative basket, originating from the Czechoslovak Chribska (Chřibská) glassworks, designed by Josef Hospodka in the 1960s
Design:
The piece features an organic form with distinctive, rolled edges and a decorative handle.
Color palette:
Made of soda-lime glass, color-merged in the mass. In this particular specimen the dominant shade is smoky/beige with a pronounced cobalt-blue blot on the bottom of the bowl.
Technique: Hand-formed glass produced using the smithing technique (art glass).
