Vanessa Mitrani’s VISUAL vase, blown glass inside a bronze structure, finished in a green speckled coloration, 29 cm high, 15 cm wide, 13 cm deep, made in France and in excellent condition as a never-editioned prototype dating from 2018.
Description from the seller
A vase by designer Vanessa Mitrani, whose original design dates back to 2018. It is a prototype that has never been produced. It is emblematic of her work on the constraint of glass, blown into a metal structure, and carried by a mix of materials. The vase is mouth-blown inside a bronze framework, from which it bursts forth and from which its form is born. Its green blotched color gives it great energy and gaiety.
Here, the roundness and fragility of the glass form a poetic contrast with the opacity and constraint of the metal.
Vanessa Mitrani is distributed worldwide by prestigious retailers such as Roche Bobois, Lane Crawford, Bergdorf Goodman or Cassina. Some of her creations are part of the permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. The pieces are made in close collaboration with artisans and are assembled in her Pantin workshop, near Paris where she designs all her collections.
