Description from the seller
Better in black NO.19
For sale is an impressive abstract work of art in black and white. Minimalism that immediately catches the eye.
Textures break through the dark canvas and create a mysterious atmosphere of untold stories.
A deep black lays over white structure. The side edges have been incorporated into the image. A shadow-gap frame is therefore not strictly necessary.
A painting by the artist that was produced exclusively for the Catawiki Selection.
Acrylic on canvas. The unique piece is signed on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
The painting will be shipped rolled (without a stretcher frame), in order to keep shipping affordable.
Each work is made with high-quality materials and is finished with a protective, lightly glossy final varnish.
This painting is ideal for a frame of size 130x80x4 cm
The depicted shadow-gap frame is for illustration purposes only.
All works by the artist are unique. They are handmade paintings created using various techniques. The photos are not edited, though slight color variations may occur due to photography. The cracks, nicks, ridges, and paint splatters belong to the painting style. They are not defects and are intentional by the artist.
ARTIST
MANUELA Decker
The native Swabian woman was born in Germany and now lives and works as a freelance artist and creativity coach with her family in Osnabrück. Her works are now represented worldwide in private collections. Interior designers appreciate collaborating with her.
She still describes herself as a self-taught artist. Despite several courses of study, self-learning through experimentation and constant practice are at the forefront and shape her works. For Ganter, independently acquired skill stands as an expression of strength. Many of her works express feelings and interfaces of her life.
"When, at the end, life and art come together, influence each other, the most beautiful images are created" - Manuela Decker
