'Interior' - Oil on canvas - Belgium
Intriguing forest drive painted by the Belgian artist Louis Thysebaert (1879-1962). Although Thysebaert is best known for his beautifully stylized, lightly impressionistic landscapes, religious scenes and floral still lifes, he painted with great passion a variety of interiors as a zeitgeist. The work depicts the interior of a beautiful gentleman's residence with typical furnishings and art on the walls. Signed bottom right by the master. In a stylish, beautiful frame.
The painter is listed in Akoun, Arto and Piron.
The frame and the canvas are in good condition, with of course some small signs of wear.
The photos were taken on several days (with different lighting), which ensures the colors are accurately represented.
Will be safely packed and shipped via insured mail.
