Riviera Breeze - Handmade! - unique oil on canvas painting measuring 120 x 80 cm, hand-signed, created in 2026 in France, in a Realist style, original edition and sold direct from the artist.
Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas. A unique work handmade.
Canvas sold with frame, carefully protected for shipment.
Format: 120 x 80 cm
Description of the work:
This luminous figurative painting captures the timeless elegance of the Mediterranean coast. In the foreground, a chic retro-style woman rides a vivid red scooter. Dressed in a black blouse, a flowing white skirt, and black heels, she wears oversized sunglasses and a wide straw hat adorned with a red ribbon blowing in the wind. The minimalist background consists of warm sand and the deep blue sea stretching under a clear azure sky. Objectively, the work shines with strong chromatic contrasts and careful treatment of reflections on the scooter’s headlight and the drapery of the skirt. However, a more textured or nuanced treatment of the sea and ground flat areas could add more depth and further detach the main subject from its surroundings. The work freezes a moment of freedom, evoking the carefreeness and glamour of the 1950s and 60s “Dolce Vita.”
The artist Le Yack's style is a bold blend of pop art, street art, and classical and modern painting. He uses his tablet to create unique visual universes, merging various digital resources and exploring a variety of artistic techniques (Photoshop, drawing on Procreate, and different royalty-free image resources and AI).
