Post-medieval bone whistle, 11 cm high and weighing 13.38 g, with a fish-head mouthpiece and incised scales, in excellent condition and authentic as original; 18th–19th century AD, acquired in 1995 from a United Kingdom private collection.

A hand-carved bone whistle, attributed to the
18th–19th century AD.
The mouthpiece is shaped into a stylized fish head with incised eye detail; the body features a repeating scale motif and turned ring segments.
Rich honey-to-amber patina and surface wear consistent with age and use; no modern restoration

- Material: carved bone (natural aging and patina)
- Period: 18th–19th century AD
- Motifs: fish-head mouthpiece, incised scales, turned ring sections
- Condition: intact; age wear still works strong sound.
