Luciano Astolfi, class of 1960, lives and works in Roseto degli Abruzzi.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila under the direction of Gino Marotta, he participated with scenic realization and acting in Fabio Mauri’s theatrical show “Gran Serata Futuristica”, performed at the Nuovo Theatre of Milan, Olimpico of Rome, Comunale of L’Aquila. He participated in the film “Una città per la musica” by Bruno Vesta and M. Warren and in 1985 he directed the performance “Immagine e suoni in una sera d’estate” in the park of the Villa Comunale of Roseto. He was a finalist for the Lubian Prize chaired by Renato Guttuso and in 1979 he won the first prize for graphics at the G. D’Annunzio Prize. He is the author of the sculpture “La Rosa d’Oro”, which is awarded to figures from sport, entertainment and culture in Abruzzo. He is present in several museums including: Museo Ugo Guidi and Gilardi of Forte dei Marmi, Michetti of Francavilla al Mare, Barbella of Chieti, Palazzo Bastogi of Florence and the Castello Estense of Ferrara, the Fortress of Civitella del Tronto, the Colonna Museum and the Aurum of Pescara, the Paris Montecarlo Hotel Museum, Zisa Cultural Workshops Palermo, Palazzo Bramante Rome, Gallery Simone Bratislava.
