Description from the seller
She stretches.
Quite clearly.
The body moves forward.
The rest stays behind.
There is only a small gap.
But that exact gap decides everything.
It's familiar:
You want closeness.
But something holds you back.
Maybe the moment.
Maybe yourself.
I paint those spots
where one almost reaches.
And then, not quite.

About me:
"My painting moves at the border between figuration and abstraction – a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
Mila Veljac’a is a visual artist of Croatian origin. She trained at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg, and Stuttgart, and for several years shared her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
