Artist Mila Veljac'a; Märchenland 1, oil on canvas with mixed media, 140 × 120 cm, 2 kg, original edition, 2025 period, Austrian, abstract expressionism, day-scene depiction, signed Handsigniert.
Description from the seller
2025
Oil on canvas
140 x 120 cm
(Figurative–abstract):
Fairy-tale land is not a place from a story, but an inner space.
Figures appear, dissolve again, stand beside fields of color, lines and open spaces.
Everything is in motion – nothing is unambiguous.
The paintings leave room for memory, for one’s own seeing, for the in-between.
Like in a fairy tale with no beginning and no end.
Packaging: Sturdy cardboard
Courier service: DPD / DHL
About me:
"My painting moves at the boundary between figuration and abstraction - a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of Abstract Expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through planes.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release."
Mila Veljac'a is a visual artist from Croatia. She studied at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg and Stuttgart and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
