Description from the seller
“DRAS” (Dit_Rien_Agit_Subtilement)
My artistic creations are made with pen, graphite and colored pencils, blending drawing with photography, frequently enhanced with acrylic paint. This mix allows me to present a coherent amalgam very close to reality. Each of my works offers a subjective vision of my environment by playing with the ambiguity that blends the real with the imagined.
In my drawings, I invite the viewer to share my ideas about the world, offering an interpretation that is at once poetic, ironic, and humorous. It is in this form that I invite you to question the action of Man on Man, its impact on the environment, and the consequences for our current and future societies.
Recurring themes are tied to current events. It is a medium that lets me address plagues and dysfunctions that too often become ordinary and barely visible.
For my artistic creations, I draw inspiration from Banksy, Blek le Rat.
The paper used for this digigraph print is Canson Aquarelle Rag 310 g. It is a limited edition created exclusively for the exhibition at Bröt und Käse Gallery in July 2021, in Geneva. This work is signed by hand with a pen in the bottom right corner.
A COA (certificate of authenticity) is provided with the work. The COA lists all information related to the artwork as well as the embossing. The same embossing can be found on the artwork in the bottom right next to the signature.
