Description from the seller
“DRAS” (Dit_Rien_Agit_Subtilement)
My artistic creations are made with a pen, graphite pencils, and colored pencils, blending drawing with photography, most often enhanced with acrylic paint. This mix allows me to provide a coherent amalgam, very close to reality. Each of my works offers a subjective vision of my environment by playing with the ambiguity that blends the real with the imaginary.
In my drawings, I invite the viewer to share my ideas about the world, an interpretation that is at once poetic, ironic, and humorous. It is in this form that I invite you to ask questions about the action of Man on Man, its effect on the environment and the consequences for our present and future societies.
The themes that recur most often are tied to current events. A medium that allows me to address plagues and dysfunctions that too often become ordinary and little visible.
For my artistic creations, I draw inspiration from Banksy, Blek le Rat.
The paper used for this digigraph print is Canson Aquarelle Rag 310g. It is a limited edition produced solely for the exhibition at the Bröt und Käse gallery in June 2024, in Geneva. This work is signed by hand with a pen in the bottom right.
A COA (certificate of authenticity) is provided with the work. The COA lists all information related to the work as well as the embossing. This same embossing is found on the work in the bottom right next to the signature.
