Description from the seller
« DRAS » (Dit_Rien_Agit_Subtilement)
My artistic creations are made with pen, graphite pencils, and colored pencils, blending drawing with photography, most often enhanced with acrylic paint. This mix allows me to provide a coherent amalgam, very close to reality. Each of my works offers a subjective vision of my environment by playing with the ambiguity that blends the real and the imaginary.
In my drawings, I invite the viewer to share my ideas about the world, an interpretation that is at once poetic, ironic, and humorous. It is in this form that I invite you to ask questions about the action of Man upon Man, its effect on the environment, and the consequences for our current and future societies.
The themes that most often recur are related to current events. A medium that allows me to address plagues and dysfunctions that too often become ordinary and barely visible.
For my artistic realizations, I draw inspiration from Banksy, Blek le Rat.
The paper used for this digi‑graf print is Canson Aquarelle Rag 310g. This is a limited edition created exclusively for the exhibition at Terra17e Gallery in October 2022, in Geneva. This work is signed by hand in the lower right corner.
A COA (certificate of authenticity) is provided with the work. The COA includes all information related to the piece as well as the embossing. The same embossing can be found on the work in the lower right next to the signature.
