Description from the seller

Exceptional service of artisanal ceramic tableware, signed A. Maunier – Vallauris, composed of 32 pieces in a décor perfectly coherent and homogeneous.
An ensemble as complete as this artist's is particularly rare on the market.
Geometric turquoise blue and dark-brown motif, hand-engraved according to the traditional Vallauris technique: incision in the clay before firing, then glazing.
Each piece presents: A central characteristic spiral, brushed by hand,
A peripheral band of hexagonal geometric shapes adorned with ovals,
A cohesive color palette: celadon blue, chocolate brown and cream white.
Exact composition of the service (32 pieces):
1 large oval serving platter, 1 rectangular tray with handles, 6 large plates (very good condition), 8 medium plates (including 2 with a small chip under the piece, not visible from the front), 7 cups and bowls with handles, 4 small saucers with cups and 1 sugar bowl with lid.
Signatures: 1 plate signed by hand directly in the clay: "A. Maunier / Vallauris" — personal signature of the artist, attest ing the artisanal nature of the piece
All other pieces bear the mould mark of the manufacture "A. Maunier / Vallauris" in relief in the clay.
Very good overall condition for the entire set. Note: 2 medium plates show a small chip under the piece, not visible from the front during use. All pieces are presented honestly.
