Title: Chromatic Collision
Dimensions: 75x55 cm
Year: 2026
Irene Caligo is a contemporary painter who explores the human figure as a space of emotional tension and suspension. Her works fuse references to the European figurative tradition with a contemporary color sensibility, through color layering, fragmentation of form, and tangible interventions. Faces and hands become central elements of a research that investigates the boundary between presence and dissolution, creating intimate and silent images, open to the viewer's interpretation.
