Ascension

In this work, the female body seems to rise in a silent tension. Raised arms extend the silhouette and create a vertical movement that naturally draws the eye upward, like a form of inner impulse.

The figure is never drawn directly. It appears gradually through the layering of thousands of black threads stretched between hundreds of nails. Through the density of the lines, shadows and volumes are built, allowing the silhouette to emerge with an almost intangible presence.

Up close, the work reveals a vibrant network of threads and tensions. From a distance, the body is revealed with surprising clarity, like an apparition shaped by light and matter.

Each thread participates in the balance of the composition, giving rise to a form that is both fragile and powerful.

This work is a unique piece. This model will never be reproduced or recreated, guaranteeing its absolutely singular character.

Technique

String art entirely handmade.
About 5,000 passes of thread stretched between 260 nails, all visible and embraced as an integral part of the composition.
