Description from the seller
Hello, I’m María Maceira, although many know me as Susi, the name that those who have loved me from the start have called me.
I was born on October 28, 1969 in Caracas, Venezuela, the city where I grew up drawing since I was very small and where I took my first steps in art. I trained at the Technical School of Fine Arts of Caracas and also studied Fashion Design at the Masef Design School.
Throughout my path, I managed to sell a work at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas, one of the most important art spaces in the country, and I participated in several editions of the traditional Christmas Fair of the Ateneo de Caracas, an emblematic gathering that brings together artists and creators every year.
Beyond art, I was also a founder, inventor, and developer of oxo-biodegradable disposable products for sanitary purposes at a company in Venezuela, a stage that marked another way of creating and contributing.
Life led me to emigrate after many years, forcing me to start over. In that process, I found painting to be my most sincere refuge: a window where I can express what brings me calm and joy.
My colors come from my land and its people.
I don’t paint perfectly… I paint what I feel.
That’s how I see it, through my eyes.
From there emerges AsíLOVEsusi.
You’ll find my signature in every corner of my paintings…
It isn’t impossible to catch a DREAM
P.S.: sent with love and a frame.
