Joan Malagrava Ferragut. Landscape painter of the 20th century, born in Gràcia (Barcelona) in 1913. He studied at the Barcelona School of Fine Arts and with Carlos Vázquez. He held solo exhibitions in Barcelona from 1939 to 1949, in Valencia in 1944, in Palma de Mallorca from 1935 to 1949, and in Figueras in 1947 and 1948. He also participated in group exhibitions and competitions in South American capitals.
