AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

- Limited edition of the artwork "Street Gaffeur" by the artist SKE
- Publisher: Atelier MONTMARTRE FineArt.
- FineArt print on museum-grade Hahnemühle art paper.
- ISO A3 format (42x29.7 cm) easy to frame.
- Edition number: 03/10
- Artwork drawn on a graphic tablet and Photoshop, no AI used. Theme: Gaston Lagaffe-inspired comic graffiti in Montana colors.
- In the street as in the studio, there are those who master the art of the gesture… and those who catch it mid-flight.
With his spray cans slipping away and stars in his head, Street Gaffeur embodies creative chaos at its finest.
Always two steps away from disaster, he nevertheless ends up signing a wall — or at least his hoodie.
An ode to improvisation, to the misstep that becomes style, and to the freedom of those who dare to get their hands dirty.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught, versatile French artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic works.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s profile has risen noticeably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), later elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was chosen as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he has also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes his mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now essential.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to begin or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Recognized Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line displays the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while injecting Banksy’s subversion or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge eras: they reinterpret the classics, including Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso, confronting them with a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comic books, and Comics is omnipresent: from Nintendo’s universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), through Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMERISM
In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with success and materialism codes. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also graces automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not forgetting mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s vibrant art, with textures that often evoke the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your home.
