Sergio Rivera Martínez presents Skins Wolf, an oil painting on wood panel in a contemporary portrait of a Native American man, signed by hand, 2026, original edition, sold directly by the artist in Spain, with dimensions 95 × 71 cm and a weight of 3 kg in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Realist portrait with expressionist nuances of a Native American man.
It is painted on a wooden board for greater expressiveness, using the textures and grain of the wood; the technique is mixed, ranging from oil to spray.
Painted out of love for Native American culture, its attitudes, its way of life.
Interest in the roots of the American continent, history, spirituality or natural conception of life, shamanism, rituals.
I am Sergio Rivera Martínez, an artist from Madrid. It could be said that I have been painting since I was born.
Art comes into my life naturally; my grandparents and mother were artisans and artists who worked with wood, tapestries, ceramics and, of course, painting.
All the memories I have are tied to painting… At home, at my grandparents’ house, birthday and Christmas gifts that are cases of paints, while I watched my favorite cartoons I painted. I painted so much that when I left the house I did it too, and thus I began to experiment with graffiti in my early adolescence, eventually becoming part of the graffiti history book of Majadahonda.
Currently I work on canvases with a meticulous realism in every detail or any expression. I focus the subjects of my work mainly on nostalgia, retro and/or the classical.
Some of the most recent exhibitions I have been part of:
Madrid Print Fair 2024
Various exhibitions at Espacio Beny 2023-2024
Cyclamen Exhibition, Leucade Gallery 2024
Seventy-Two Exhibition, El Punto Rojo Gallery
Collective exhibition “Hashtag3” Leucade Gallery
Collective exhibition “Esencial” Leucade Gallery.
Work Geronimo, Mention for Best Visual Artwork in the Western Genre. Almería Western Film Festival 2017. Among others.
2025-2026 Represented by Galería Herraíz (Madrid)
