With "Goldorak Reborn," SKE transforms the legendary icon of Japanese animation into a true monument of urban culture.
The famous robot appears here as a relic of steel marked by time: cracked armor, graffiti, symbols and paint splinters testify to the passage of generations and the appropriation of the myth by street art aesthetics. Between futuristic relic and urban mural, Goldorak becomes a contemporary statue dedicated to the memory of pop culture.
Despite the marks of time, the giant still stands, symbolizing resilience and rebirth.
A powerful work blending nostalgia, manga culture and the energy of street art, intended for collectors who are sensitive to timeless icons.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, marry the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE’s value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master competition (2023), then chosen as Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by Opulence Gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also makes a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations among collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics and texture play define a style that is now essential.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to watch, to start or enrich a collection with growing value.
Esteemed & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line shows the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to twist Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Young Girl, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr. Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His canvases capture the aesthetic of “Hype”: the sneaker world (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin) appear. He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art with textured finishes that evoke the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or bringing a dynamic touch to your space.
