Artistic collaboration between David Law and Ginger Red
David Law, musician, author and photographer, has been developing series for over 20 years on his favorite themes: mannequin poses in shop windows, Japanese angels and Korean dolls in the cities he travels through. He turns to graphic design to create crypto-rocs, a gallery of iconic portraits made from photographs of the artists represented. He participates in several circuits of contemporary art fairs, exhibiting there and producing photo and video reports. He has teamed up with Ginger Red for a series devoted to pin-ups, in which he draws on his graphic design experience by using Photoshop.
Ginger Red lives in Paris. After studying modeling and sewing, the artist created numerous collages and studied drawing and painting for several years. Passionate about the retro and timeless charm of 1950s and 1960s pin-ups, supported by AI for visual research, which she reworks, blends and carefully illustrates using graphic design tools (Photoshop, XP-Pen Artist 24 Pro graphic tablet), she creates a style close to the work of the great illustrators.
The two artists have joined forces to invite you to dive into the timeless universe of 1960s pin-ups, or into other charming and original visuals.
