Set of three wooden weather stations from the 1950s–1960s in good used condition with minor signs of aging and spots, including a 47 cm long banjo-barometer (47 x 10 x 3 cm) from the Netherlands, all in working order.
Description from the seller
It is a classic wooden weather station, often referred to as a "banjo-barometer" due to its distinctive shape. It is a decorative and functional instrument that combines three different measurements to forecast the weather:
Parts of the weather station
Thermometer (top): Measures the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Barometer (middle): The main instrument that measures atmospheric air pressure. The dial often contains Dutch terms such as "Regen", "Veranderlijk" and "Mooi" to indicate weather changes.
Hygrometer (bottom): Measures the relative humidity in the surrounding environment.
Dates from around the 1950s/1960s.
In good condition. It has some damaged spots along the curve, see photos.

2nd barometer:
Aneroid weather station, executed in a triptych of oak wood with brass accents. from West Germany. The station contains three measuring instruments that measure local environmental conditions:
Barometer (Middle): This is the largest instrument. It measures air pressure and is used to forecast weather changes.

3rd barometer:
Aneroid barometer in the shape of a ship’s wheel, a popular maritime decoration piece from the mid-20th century (c. 1950–1970). The barometer is made of wood with brass or gold-colored metal spokes and a glass cover plate.
Total diameter 19 cm, 4 cm deep.
