Original oil on canvas work, cm 31 × 24, signed by Giuseppe Bonora De Metri, an Italian painter known for a figurative poetics with a strong symbolic and surreal accent.
The work, titled "Souvenir", represents a dreamlike seascape: a red umbrella suspended in the sky, a small green boat on the shore and a coastline built through intense and unreal chromatic tones. The composition, played on sharp contrasts and suspended atmospheres, evokes a surrealist sensibility rooted in a 20th-century tradition, with obvious references to the language of symbol and memory.
The painting is signed on the recto, bottom right, and is titled and signed also on the verso, where the handwritten inscription reads:

Authenticity: the work is accompanied by a verified certificate of authenticity issued by Casa d’Aste Brina (Ferrara).
Exhibitions: the painting was shown at the artist’s solo exhibition in Codigoro (FE) in 1999, as evidenced by the attached documentation.
