Appaloosa exploits the random and chaotic character of torn papers to create his works somewhere between vandalism, raw reality and metamorphosis. Upon closer look at the artist's canvases, one can glimpse half-woman, half-animal beauties, ostentation and splendor, as well as tacky advertising slogans.
