Description from the seller

Photo taken off the set, for fun, during the filming of the movie Help in 1964 in the inland countryside of the London area. The film was low-budget and the actors had no campers, chairs, or other comforts. This is one of the most famous and representative photos of John Lennon's character.

Limited edition.

The photo is digitally printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Ultra Smooth cotton paper 305 gsm. 4 cm mat. Archival inks guaranteed 150 years. Photograph with the artist's original stamp and signature.

The photos are presented at auction in low resolution to prevent unauthorized reproductions; the photos sent to buyers will instead be reproduced from the originals in high resolution for optimal printing.

Emilio Lari was born in Rome in 1939, a stills photographer from 1960 to today. In 1960, his passion for photography led him to join the press office team of Luigi Pratulon (then the stills photographer for Federico Fellini's film "La Dolce Vita"). He was later sent to London to photograph the new group, the Beatles, at the beginning of their fame. A master of photographic light, Emilio has worked on over 140 films.

"Help" Richard Leister
"Barbarella" Roger Vadim
"Candy" Christian Marquand
"The Godfather" Francis Ford Coppola
"Raging Bull" Martin Scorsese
"Once Upon a Time in America" Sergio Leone
"Romeo and Juliet" Franco Zeffirelli

...and many other films.
