AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Damien Drips series by Dr Drip draws inspiration from the mechanical methods of Damien Hirst and Yayoi Kusama. Thick spots of color interact and engage in a poetic dialogue, dissolving boundaries and creating a dynamic play of contrasts and harmonies.

Circles cut from food packaging consumed by Dr Drip add a touch of fun and serve as a memory of the artist's time in the studio.

A note on the title:
The title derives solely from the literal translation of the Japanese/Chinese characters visible on the food packaging fragment within the work (see photo 7). It holds no political, racial, or intentional commentary of any kind — only the artist's delight in the unexpected.

This piece invites you to explore Dr Drip’s unique creativity, leaving a lasting impression—whether as a centerpiece or a valued addition to your collection.
