According to Artprice, Bruno Cantais's market value in 2021 ranged roughly from 600 to 2,000 euros for his paintings and multiples prints, making him a relatively affordable artist for art collectors.
A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections à la Georges Mathieu, to Pop Art collage, or to the expressionism of Karel Appel, which straddles the border between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, the material worked with the body, a testament to the artist's intimate monologue.
An artist represented by Galerie Les Couleurs de l'Éternité in France and Gallery Modern Dutchart in the Netherlands. Listed on Artprice, Drouot and Akoun since 2005. Atelier Maeght in 2005. Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon. Recent exhibitions in Chisinau, Moldova; Cannes; Pézenas; and Lyon, Paul Bocuse Abbey, gala evening 2023. Based in Paris; private collection gallery Île Saint-Louis since 2016. Exhibits in international galleries Belgium, USA, Italy and Portugal since 2019.
