It is a painting in which I wanted to depict a woman seated by the window, absorbed in her thoughts, as she gazes at the city emerging from the fog. The outlines of the buildings are blurred, almost ethereal, like distant memories, or desires yet to be fulfilled. I emphasized the withdrawn posture and the gaze directed toward the horizon. My painting tells of a moment of inner silence. A dialogue between the fragility of the soul and the immensity of the city.
