Description from the seller
Overview
This is an attractive and complete antique Longines pocket watch set in which the watch, the pocket watch chain, and the period box all contribute equally to the overall appeal. The watch itself is a large open-face mechanical model with a signed silver-white dial, black Arabic numerals, and a red 13 to 24 hour scale that gives it strong visual identity. The blued-style hands and small seconds at 6 add refinement and classic Longines character. The substantial old chain and the green presentation box further strengthen the period feel of the lot, and the greatest appeal lies in the way the watch, chain, and box come together as a coherent collector’s set.
