Description from the seller

Beautiful antique painting, late 1500s–early 1600s, from a Tuscan School, specifically between Florence and Siena, the place from which the painting originates. The conditions are excellent, always kept in suitable environments for best preservation. Contemporary frame, shows no damage and/or missing parts. The canvas has been cleaned. From a private collection in Florence. A declaration of lawful provenance is issued.

The painting in question comes from a private collection in the province of Florence; it was placed inside a private church that has origins dating back to the 14th century. A truly very interesting piece.
