πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallerist, Exhibition curator, music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and transmitter of forms, presents ROBBIT: a series of brightly colored sculptures, mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, buoyed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — particularly Rockit (1983), from which its name is born. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comes in four silhouettes, each then hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
Poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT blends pop audacity and playful gentleness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross gazes and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before its disappearance.
