Description from the seller
“Impeto Bianco” is a work that originates from a primordial, instinctive, unfiltered gesture.
White manifests as an absolute force: light, origin, uncontaminated space. It is not a backdrop, but an active presence that expands across the canvas through a decisive, tactile intervention, where the cementitious material builds reliefs, tensions and depth.
The canvas loses its traditional nature and becomes a body.
Painting becomes matter, matter becomes language.
In time and gesture, black intervenes. Not as opposition, but as evolution.
It traverses white, interrupts it, marks it. It is a trace of experience, of rupture, of transformation. It is what makes the work alive, authentic, human.
Thus a dynamic balance is created between contrasting forces:
light and shadow, impulse and control, purity and contamination.
The tactile, irregular, and vibrant surface reacts to light in ever-different ways, generating a continuous dialogue with the surrounding space. The work is never static: it changes, it breathes, it transforms with the gaze of those who observe it.
“Impeto Bianco” is a presence.
A focal point capable of defining the identity of a contemporary, minimalist, or design environment, elevating it through force, character and depth.
