Description from the seller
Mc Tiffany's Diamond Cone by XTC.
A reimagined McDonald’s cone, the intersection of luxury and mass consumption.
This is not a cardboard McDonald’s cone; everything has been created from plastic materials and painted by XTC, with plastic diamonds.
The glass cloche is an integral part of the work.
Signed and numbered 1/15 on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
(The shipped piece is not necessarily the one pictured.)
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in central France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has transformed into a passion that was meant to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption, which he makes collide with the world of luxury and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of plastics and sometimes mineral materials.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
