Massimiliano Muner - Skull

Massimiliano Muner (Trieste, 1984) is a photographer, curator and artistic director. His research focuses on analog photography and, in particular, on experimentation with Polaroid materials and the languages of the instant image. His works have been exhibited in over 50 exhibitions across Europe and the United States and are part of the Polaroid Collection of WestLicht (Vienna) and the archive of the Alinari Foundation for the History of Photography (Florence).
A work belonging to the artist's research on manipulating the instant image as a physical surface. The direct intervention through incision and reassembly fragments the original structure, generating a discontinuous vision in which the image is reconstructed through shifts and stratifications.
