Description from the seller
Ester Reut
She watched the sea and breathed blue
She looked beyond as she crossed the “endless,” beyond our small horizons. The sea gazed at her, caressing the waves with a silent look. She saved poor, unsuspecting souls from deadly waves; few recognize her courage as a man’s, that courage which makes life seem small and drives toward the ultimate sacrifice. She watched the sea and entrusted secrets and thoughts to the wind.
In the dense, briny air she glimpsed the choices, the loves, the irreparable mistakes, the sudden joys that lit up her gaze.
Resigned, arriving at the sublime conclusion that there is no “difference at all between guiding peoples or getting drunk by oneself.”
Serene, she breathed in the wind, was alone, at peace with herself and with the rest of the world. For a single enterprise, she would stop looking at this sea, turning her back on the waves.
For a great love she would defy every limit,
For a great love she would end her truce, would again dare that fearless plunge into the other.
Because her heart was pure, invincible and full of an unusual light, like the sea.
