This work is transfer number 0226.
Paper size: 46 x 68 cm. Image size: 14 x 29 cm.
Unique work, signed by the artist on the front of the photograph.
Includes certificate of authenticity signed.
High quality print with pigment ink that guarantees a museum-quality finish and ensures it remains unaltered over time.
The print is carefully wrapped with protective material to ensure proper conservation during transport.
Description of the digital emulsion transfer technique
It is a technique that I have personally perfected, inspired by the classic emulsion transfer of Polaroid instant film, but adapted to the digital workflow.
It consists of printing an image with pigment inks on a prepared support so that, when soaked in cold water, the ink layer (the emulsion) can separate and be manually transferred to a quality art paper. During the process the image is manipulated directly, generating slight variations, textures and folds that make each copy a unique piece.
Transfers can be made in different sizes —up to A2— and in both color and black and white. The result combines digital precision and handmade finish, with an image protected by a film that covers it, so it resists scratching and offers good durability.
