This elegant lithograph is a characteristic example of Yiannis Moralis’s mature style, defined by his "linear" approach and the distillation of classical Greek forms into modern abstraction. The composition, featuring two figures rendered with sculptural simplicity and rhythmic grace, also served as the frontispiece for the poetry collection Chronos (Time) by Ioanna Tsatsou. It exemplifies the harmonious balance and refined minimalism that made Moralis a leading figure of the “Generation of the ’30s.”
