About the artist:

Originating from the Paris suburbs, Socrate is an artist from the graffiti movement. She stages a very contrasted universe by using the raw, immediate nature of graffiti. She sublimates the strength and fragility of images, primarily the traits of femininity through intimate and glamorous representations.

Socrate invites graffiti into the boudoir and thus blends a discipline largely masculine with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics.
