About the artist:

Originally from the Paris suburbs, Socrate is an artist coming from the graffiti movement. She stages a highly contrasted universe by using the raw, immediate nature of graffiti. She elevates the strength and fragility of images, mainly the traits of femininity through intimate and glamorous representations.
Socrate invites graffiti into the boudoir and thus fuses a discipline essentially masculine with the elegance and sensuality of feminine aesthetics.
