Stefano Nurra - Zona neutra

The work is structured around a central void: a dense, suspended white mass that interrupts the dialogue between two green surfaces placed at opposite ends. This element does not represent a traversable space, but an inaccessible threshold, a neutral zone that separates and at the same time connects.

The two green areas appear as isolated fragments of field, distant both physically and symbolically. At the bottom, a human figure advances cautiously, while at the top a flag suggests a distant and perhaps unreachable goal. The composition creates a vertical tension: between departure and arrival, between presence and absence.
