Sergio Sberna - Horizons

The horizons of sea and land stretch out like silent promises, thin lines where the sky meets what we know.
On the sea, the blue merges with the infinite, and the gaze slips lightly until it loses itself in a distant point, where the waves seem to guard ancient secrets.
On the land, hills and fields chase each other until they blur into a wavering line, beyond which everything becomes possibility.
And while the eyes stop there, at the visible boundary, the mind continues the journey: imagine islands never drawn on maps, cities hidden among the folds of light, paths that lead to stories yet to be told.
Because every horizon, ultimately, is not an end but an invitation to go further.

I have been a photographer for many years, capturing landscapes of my homeland and the numerous journeys I have taken.
I have exhibited at numerous exhibitions, both group and solo; in 2018 I won an award at the HIPA in Dubai with a portfolio of landscape photos, in 2021 I received an honorable mention at the MIFA in Moscow.
