ABOUT THE ARTIST
Juan Fernándes is a Spanish painter and printmaker. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialising in printmaking. Since 1980, he has maintained a studio-home in Madrid, alongside a studio in Ayamonte.

Juan has held over 80 solo exhibitions in art galleries in Spain and abroad. He has taken part in over 500 group exhibitions, including competitions, art fairs and award ceremonies, and won more than 25 national and international painting awards. His work is held in various museums, official bodies and private collections. He has been widely featured in dictionaries, encyclopaedias, art magazines and the press.
