Guy Marineau was the photographer for all fashion shows, since the 1970s, for haute couture and notably for Yves Saint Laurent, then, in the 1980s, for the first fashion-show performances by these young designers who made the decade a fireworks display. He was a correspondent for Women's Wear and for Vogue US. A lover and reporter of parties, personalities, and the Parisian nightlife, this has earned him today a very fine collection of photographic archives spanning about thirty years; he was one of the very few photographers allowed at the Palace. He continues to cover the shows and events in fashion.
