What you see here is the suspended moment — the moment before day, when the Cap Fréhel lighthouse still watches in the gray and the sun begins to seep through from below. Pale yellow, almost shy. Black that resists. White that hesitates.
The two black spirals float in this newborn light like seagulls in the offshore wind — light, alive, free.
This is not a representation of Cap Fréhel. It is its memory. Its breath. What you feel when you are there alone, early in the morning, facing the Breton horizon.
Cap Fréhel speaks to those who have the sea in their body, even far from the ocean.

La brume avant la lumière.
Ce que l'on voit ici, c'est l'instant suspendu — celui d'avant le jour, quand le phare du Cap Fréhel veille encore dans le gris et que le soleil commence à sourdre par en dessous. Jaune pâle, presque timide. Noir qui résiste. Blanc qui hésite.
Les deux spirales noires flottent dans cette lumière naissante comme des mouettes dans le vent du large — légères, vivantes, libres.
Ce n'est pas une représentation du Cap Fréhel. C'est sa mémoire. Son souffle. Ce qu'on ressent quand on y est seul, tôt le matin, face à l'horizon breton.
Cap Fréhel s'adresse à ceux qui ont la mer dans le corps, même loin de l'océan.
