ABOUT THE ARTIST
A Chilean artist with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Chile, he has lived in Spain since 2000 and has developed his creative work in the fields of visual arts and new technologies applied to art. He has taken part in various solo and group exhibitions in Latin America and Europe.
From the very start of his flourishing career, his work has been sought after by private collectors and institutions, such as the Museum of Visual Arts in Santiago (Chile), which commissioned a work for its collection in 2002.
His most renowned urban painting project, Retrato capital, began touring in 2005 across a dozen cities, being hosted by various galleries and art fairs in Spain. This project, which has received critical acclaim, was first exhibited at the Caja Madrid Foundation. In 2013, he was recognised as one of the 100 most prominent Latin American figures of the year in Spain.
His most recent series, Tributo a los genios and Tributo a las genias, was presented in 2021 at the Antonio Saura Foundation, Casa Zavala in Cuenca and the Ateneo de Madrid.
